Duck Craft for Kids

Duck crafts are cute, adorable, and fun for kids of any age. This craft is relatively easy and perfect for the spring theme.

There are lots of storybooks and nursery rhythms about ducks to relate to this craft. Two of them are “five little ducks”, and “the ugly duckling” that everyone would have heard in their childhood.

Ducks live near or on water sources like ponds, streams, and rivers. The male ducks are called Drakes, female ones are called hens, and baby ducks are known as Ducklings.

Get ready to cut, glue, and make your own paper duck today! To start with this cute craft, we’ll need colored construction paper, scissors, glue, and googly eyes.

Duck Craft for Kids

Supplies Required:

  • Colored construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Googly eye

How to make Duck Craft for Kids:

Start by Cutting the paper circle of different sizes. We’ll need one large-sized circle, two medium-sized circles, and three small-sized circles. Keep the materials ready before starting the craft.

Take the bigger paper circle and fold it into half, this is the body of the Duck.

Glue one of the medium-sized paper circle to the folded paper circle, so this makes the head. Take the other medium-sized paper circle, fold it in half and stick it to the body. And, this is the feather of the duck.

Take two small-sized paper circles, fold them and glue them to the bottom center part of the body. This makes the feet.

Glue the eyes to the head paper circle. Take a small-sized paper circle, fold it in half and glue it to the head to form the beak.
