How much do you know about snow? Here are some interesting facts about snow.

Snow is nothing but frozen water. It looks white, but it’s colorless. All the snowflakes have 6 sides and no two snowflakes are exactly alike. It takes about 1 hour for a snowflake to reach the ground, and it can absorb sound.

You only need a few basic supplies to make them. To start off with this craft, we’ll need colored construction paper, scissors, and glue.

Let us know if your child enjoys skiing, sledding, and snowboarding in the comments. Don’t forget to share your creations on our Facebook wall and Instagram page. I’d love to see them!

How to make the Snow Craft for Kids:

Cut out the square paper of size 7cm. We need six of them. Keep the materials ready before starting the craft.

Take a square piece of paper, fold it diagonally, and cut parallel lines till the end of the side as shown in the picture.

Now, join every alternative end of the strips of the cut paper, on the front side as shown in the pictures below.

Repeat this and join the alternative ends on the opposite side as shown in the picture below. Now, we made one part of the snowflake.

Repeat the same with all of the paper squares.

Join all of the parts together, and glue the middle part together to form the crystal shape of the snowflake. Repeat the same to the sides, and glue them together to make the snowflake.

Your snow craft is ready!
